Real Madrid clinched its 34th Spanish league title —Zinedine Zidane Feels La Liga title win tastes sweeter than any of the three Champions League crowns!


Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane and the team achieved another milestone by winning 34th Spanish league title and we saw the manager being lifted in the air by his Real Madrid players in another title celebration. The last time the won was in 2017 under Zidane and defeated Villarreal at the Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium in Madrid. Karim Benzema went on score two gaols in a victory vs Villareal.

Zinedine Zidane has worked his magic the second time. Though he parted ways with the club post guiding them o three successive Champions League titles but poor results followed him to become Team manager once again and didn’t disappoint the fans as well as the club president Florentino Perez. Under his guidance the Madrid slowly climbing up the ladder while trouble brewed in Barcelona.

Karim two goals consisted of a penalty shootout which came in the second half which was played in Afredo di Stefano Stadium as Real Madrid has taken seven-point lead from their arch rivals Barcelona.

They have been fabulous form ever since the Spanish football restarted on June 11 following the coronavirus pandemic. Zidane side has gone on to win 10 conductive games in a row. While interacting with the media, Zidane was quoted saying “For me this is one of the best days in my professional career, this is better than anything. It takes a tremendous effort to win La Liga.”

Also Opened that the wining the La Liga win is more special than winning Champions League title with Madrid and added “This is better than anything. It takes a tremendous effort to win La Liga. After 38 matches, you have more points than anyone else. It’s bloody fantastic.”

Keeping in mind current scenario the fans will not be able to see the team celebrating by having open-top bus parade to the Cibeles fountain in the center of Madrid either, in order to prevent the risk of the coronavirus outbreak. Zizou was quoted saying “It’s strange for everybody, we would have liked to have been with our fans at Cibeles but it’s not meant to be, But I’m sure everyone is happy in their homes tonight. The fans always love to see the team win and we’ve done this for them.”

Zidane had words of appreciation for Courtois, who made four saves in Madrid’s win and quoted saying “He has a very big influence. He is our goalkeeper, what he is doing every game is phenomenal. It is a matter for everyone when it comes to defending … today, he [Courtois] has been good for us with two or three stops, and then the strength of the entire team.
