Shad Gaspard is an American professional wrestler who hails from Brooklyn, New York. At the very young age he was being trained by his father in boxing but at eight-year-old started training in different form of martial arts. He also took it as a profession and won many fights as an amateur. This led to being nicknamed “Beast” by his mother.
Shad was only sixteen years old, when he participated VS adults who were older than him. Gaspard also holds won-loss records as a No Holds Barred fighter (35-7) and an amateur boxer (57-26). He came into the limelight when he qualified for the finals of the reality television program Tough Enough 2 in 2002 and this led to him being recruited by WWF talent scout Tom Prichard and allowed a career as a professional wrestler.
In June 2005, he signed his developmental contract with World Wrestling Entertainment. He earned his popularity alongside to form Crime Tyme. They were hilarious and always creating trouble. In one of the insistences they were seen selling the Lita’s clothes during her retirement. They also entertained the WWE universe a dance party with legends including Eugene. Cryme Tyme was released by WWE in 2007. Post his release Gaspard tried his luck at Jersey All Pro Wrestling to wrestle in their 10th Anniversary Show. Gaspard and JTC returned to WWE, RAW in 2008 and helped John Cena in his feud VS JBL. They once again created havoc destroyed Bradshaw’s limousine and graffitied the entire car.
As per latest development Former WWE Superstar Shad Gaspard has been missing since past weekend off the coast of Venice Beach. Shad was accompanied by his wife Siliana and son and they were successfully rescued by a group of swimmers at Venice Beach. But luck was not in the favour of Gaspard was the only one who went under rip current according to KABC-TV news affiliate,
Lifeguard Specialist Pono Barnes was quoted saying “That group was stuck in one of the rip currents and were swimming just north of the lifeguard tower. That’s why lifeguards were able to get there so soon, but unfortunately, one did, however, submerge.”
Gaspard told the lifeguard to save his live and did that before another large wave crashed down. This was also the last time the former WWE tag team champion was seen. Kenichi Haskett of the LA County Fire Department released the statement and was quoted saying “We had one of our lifeguards go out to make a double rescue of a father and a son. The father unfortunately got pushed down by a wave as they were getting pulled out of the current. The lifeguard rescued and grabbed the boy, the son, and tried to grab the father as well. He ended up getting pushed down by a wave and we couldn’t find him and we immediately started with our rescue boats, called in additional lifeguards to search that location of his dad.”
The search operation was going on until sundown on Sunday and it was commenced on Monday morning at around 7 am local time.
