Post Ramayan And Mahabharat, Dekh Bhai Dekh Is Coming Back To TV and Where To Watch The Iconic 90s Show

At the time of Coronavirus pandemic, the nation is on a lockdown and for the sake of the people’s welfare have been urging the citizens to stay at home. But like everyone else one question keeps popping on our mind is what should you watch while you’re stuck inside and spending all that time at home while in isolation/quarantine? Door darshan come to the citizens rescue by bringing back iconic shows such as ‘Ramayan’ and ‘Mahabharat’.

The news was confirmed by the Information and Broadcasting Ministry said Doordarshan who also informed that soon other famous showed of bringing back old favourites are like ‘Chanakya’, ‘Upanishad Ganga’, ‘Shaktimaan’, ‘Shriman Shrimati’ and ‘Krishna Kali.  will be telecasted on DD Bharati from first week of April. Chanakya which consisted of 47-episode series can be watched on DD Bharati from first week of April during the afternoon slot. The famous superhero shows in which lead role was essayed by Mukesh Khanna will be aired for an hour daily on DD National network at 1 PM.

Other show who the nation can watch it ‘Shriman Shrimati’, a rib-tickling comedy on DD National from April in the 2 PM. Also, will a get chance to watch detective series ‘Byomkesh Bakshi’, ‘Circus’ featuring Shah Rukh Khan, ‘Hum Hain Na’ and ‘Tu Tota Main Maina’.  The news was confirmed by Doordarshan National on their Twitter account and wrote “Watch iconic comic show #DekhBhaiDekh which beautifully shows the unique bonding between the three generations of the Diwan family at 6 pm ONLY on @DDNational.” The show was created by Aanand Mahendroo and produced by Jaya Bachchan under the banner of Saraswati Audio Visuals Pvt Ltd. It featured talented bunch of actors such as Sushma Seth, Farida Jalal, Shekhar Suman, Navin Nischol, Bhavana Balsavar, Deven Bhojani, Vishal Singh and Nattasha Singh. Dekh Bhai Dekh consisted of total of 65 episodes and for the duration of 22 mins each.

The show can be watched by the citizens at t 6 pm only on DD National and comes once in a lifetime kind of shows. The show follows the journey of  fun which takes place at the Diwan’s household. Shekhar Suman was going through touch times and was paid Rs 5,000 per episode He was quoted saying “It was a crucial decision for me. Instead of doing bad movies, I felt it would be better to do good TV. I never looked back. But I would have done it for Rs 500 too. I needed the money. I had a family to look after and I was scraping through at that time.”
