Twitter Reaction To ‘Brandon Williams’ First Manchester United Premier League Goal Vs Brighton

Manchester United is one of revered club in the world and is there is no doubt that among all English clubs. United have established themselves as the most dominant force and won 20 league titles, the most by any in England. The club is in transition phase and under the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s has been struggling and having a very inconsistent campaign. They have five wins from the last six in all competitions and there away record leaves a lot to be desired.

Manchester United took on Sheffield United last night and were without Scott McTominay who picked up injury while on International Duty. He was replaced by Phil Jones lat night clash and it was his first appearance in the Premier League this season. Man Utd were Gunning for the fifth spot but the match started on a disastrous start for the visitors as they conceded the first goal of the match in the 19th minute. Sheffield player John Fleck openned the account by scoring the first goal.Sheffield doubled their lead, all thanks to a super goal from Lys Mousset.

It seemed that luck was running out on Red Devils but out of nowhere the youngster Brandon Williams scored his first senior goal in the 72nd minute. This was followed by Substitute Mason Greenwood equalised minutes after coming on.  The striker, Rashford swept home in the 79th minute to put the team in a commanding position. But all their plan came crashing down when Oliver McBurnie controlled the ball and shoot past David de Gea to level at 3-3 in the 90th minute.

Machester Untied are place ninth in the Premier League table, nine points. behind fourth-placed Chelsea while Sheffield United are sixth.

Manchester United Manager Solskjaer was quoted saying that, “When you are 2-0 down you have to go for it, play with less fear and just go for it. The average ages of the goals is less than 20, it’s something we are proud of. It’s a great experience for our young players because it’s not easy to come back at a place like this. It’s mixed emotions. We cannot be happy, we have not performed for the majority of the game but we turned it around and we showed what we could be capable of. We have to do it now for a whole game. We know we can, we just have to show it.”
