
Manchester United is one of the most reputed clubs in the Premier League and based in Old Trafford, England. It’s not necessary whether you’re a football fan or don’t know the first thing about it, Manchester United is one club you surely must have heard of. The club boast of royal fans following across the world and royalty matched by none. The Club has produced great players with superb skills who enthralled the football fans whether played for the club or while representing their country. Red Devil reign over its opponents and the ever-growing fanbase makes it one of the most followed clubs in the world.

The club was formed in the year 1878 and was known as Newton Heath L&YR Football Club. The team was represented by Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Company in which there the team’s player worked. The club was purchased by Glazers for £790million almost 14 years ago .
The one accident which brings tears down the eyes of every fan is the Munich Air disaster in which 7 members of the Manchester United team known as the Busby Babes were among 21 people killed when their plane crashed on take-off. The players who lost the life on this tragic tragedy was Eddie Colman, 21, Liam Whelan, 22, David Pegg, 22, Mark Jones, 24, Geoff Bent, 25, Tommy Taylor, 26, and team captain Roger Byrne, 28. Pegg, Taylor, and Byrne were England internationals, while Whelan had represented Ireland.

To pay homage to the players, the club stopped the clock at Old Trafford Stadium remains permanently frozen at 3:04 p.m. on Feb. 6, 1958. The solitary word beneath it is Munich. Also, the club valued his important that he has played for the club by honoring in 2011 when the Old Trafford’s North Stand was rechristened as Sir Alex Ferguson Stand on the 25th anniversary of his appointment.

Manchester United has over the years has produced world-class players such as of Sir Bobby Charlton, Denis Law, George Best, Mark Hughes, Roy Keane, Eric Cantona, Peter Schmeichel, Gary Neville, Paul Scholes, David Beckham, Ryan Giggs, Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Edwin Van Der Sar , Nemanja Vidić,Rio Ferdinand, Antony Martial, Paul Pogba, Marcus Rashford to name a few.

At the end of the last season the manager was quoted saying that I’m under no illusions that this is not going to be plain sailing,” Solskjaer said. ‘It’s going to be hard, as I said before it’s survival of the fittest and also the survival of the best and that’s how ruthless we have to be.”
